Jumbo PR&BTL Direct Communicational Agency continuous to facilitate the “Collection” Gallery in showing the “culture to the public” by presenting new project, “Big Tour” of Maksim Mamsikov.
In his new “Big Tour” oil painted project Maksim Mamsikov shows the traveling theme but in a “vise versa” way: ordinary people instead of perfect models from the advertising folders. The strip of the sun, the strip of the sea, the sand. A lot of blue, the color that has recently become the feature of Mamsikov. His paintings are as always very realistic with delicate implication but very positive. Aleksey Titarenko, art-scientist and expert of the “Time Out” magazine was very laconic in describing the spirit of the exhibition: “Collection” Gallery at Pan’kovskaya Str. has turned into the piece of Goa. Wherever you look you see the bluest of the sea, the most yellow of the sand, and lonely figures…”
Olga Kovtun, Director of Jumbo PR&BTL Agency and respected Kiev art-collector has subtly noticed another peculiarity: “Mamsikov has experimented for a long time: he molded mise en scenes out of clay, massaged the hen, and now he has again returned to his most successful genre, to the magical realism in oil painting. The car covered with snow, the walking sunbather are banal daily scenes. But Mamsikov paints like saturating the reality with information charged particles and every scene immediately starts implying the history.”
Maksim Mamsikov is loved in Kiev, Moscow, and Berlin and his works have already replenished many private collections, so his new exhibition has attracted a lot of persons and art collectors. This event couldn’t have been missed by the media, namely such friends of “Collection” Gallery and Jumbo PR&BTL Agency as “24”, “K2” and the 5th channels, leading life-style and business titles, namely “Time Out”, “Economicheskiye Izvestia”, “24” and others.
Olga Kovtun says: “At the beginning of our cooperation we developed and approved the communication activities plan for the “Collection” Gallery”; the result of which is that the name of “Collection” Gallery is always “heard”. We have reached such high level of mutual understanding with the best of Ukrainian media that neither of the events remains unnoticed”.
The “Big Tour” exhibition is shown at “Collection” Gallery at 8, Pan’kovskaya Str. and will be closed on the 30th of October.
